ROBERT A. EMMA AIA, LEED AP
Robert Emma is a founding partner of Amenta Emma Architects. Since 1985, he has served as Principal-in-Charge of the Senior Living/Multi-Family and Education Studios. His work includes award-winning projects such as the CREC Discovery Academy in Wethersfield, CT, and the Burnham Family Memory Care Residence at Avery Heights in Hartford, CT. In an administrative role, he served as the Principal-in-Charge of Finance, Operations, and Internal Management. In 2018 he became a partner emeritus, continuing to share his talent and experience on selected projects.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a registered architect in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Outside of the firm, Robert served as the Chairperson of the Development Committee and was a Board Member of The Catholic Charities, a Corporator of the Hartford Public Library, and a member of the AIA Connecticut Professional Practice Committee. Robert is an avid fisherman and devoted Cubs fan.
